Wagering requirements explained
A wagering requirement (also called a rollover or turnover requirement) is the total amount you must bet before bonus funds, or winnings from them, can be withdrawn. It is usually written as a multiple, for example "10x".
Worked example (illustrative figures only)
Suppose an offer gives RM100 bonus with a 10x wagering requirement on the bonus amount:
- Calculate the turnover
RM100 × 10 = RM1,000 in total bets needed.
- Apply game contribution
If slots count 100% and live casino counts 10%, then RM1,000 of slot bets meets the target, but you would need RM10,000 of live casino bets to achieve the same.
- Respect the maximum bet
Many offers cap the bet size while a bonus is active. Betting above the cap can cancel the bonus and its winnings.
- Finish before expiry
Unmet wagering at the deadline usually means the bonus and related winnings are removed.
Some offers calculate wagering on deposit plus bonus rather than the bonus alone, which doubles the turnover in the example above. Always check which applies.
